Help with the calculators
Choose a tool from the calculator directory, enter the values from your record and check the result's unit and assumptions. The calculator forms use JavaScript for interactive updates. Where a page shows a starting answer in its delivered HTML, editing that example still requires JavaScript.
Check the input type first
A clock time such as 8:30 AM is different from a duration of 8 hours 30 minutes, and both differ from 8.30 decimal hours. On date pages, check whether the start and end dates are included. On pay pages, match an hourly rate with hours and a daily rate with days unless the tool explicitly converts units.
If a result disappears while you edit, a required field may be blank or invalid. Choose Calculate to reveal a field message and move focus to the entry that needs attention. A displayed zero is a valid result only when the current inputs pass validation. Reset or Clear, where available, returns that particular form to its described starting state.
Review the result before using it
Check unpaid breaks, workweek boundaries, rate basis and any selected multiplier against your own records or policy. The articles below each calculator include worked examples and explain what the number does not decide. If you need to report a broken result, email thetimesheetcalculator@gmail.com with the calculator name, the input values and the result you expected. Avoid sending names or sensitive employee records.
Calculator entries in this repository are held in the page's form state; the forms do not offer an account or saved-history feature. Reloading usually returns to the starting example. Browser or hosting behavior outside the calculator form may differ; see the Privacy page for the site's data notes.
