When we accept now job offers, the first thing we tend to evaluate is how much money could we get paid based on the hourly rate and the working time limit. This is a very valid case when you are an online freelancer. The most common rate for a web developer is around 25 dollars per hour working on 40 hours a week.

Based on those given factors, you might want to figure out how much are you going to make in a month or in a year. This calculator will break it down for you.

Another useful case is when you are currently employed and working at a fix salary rate on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. Say for example you are getting paid 5,000 USD per month working 8 hours every day on weekdays. You can use this calculator by entering these values on the corresponding input fields and you'll get your salary breakdown on hourly, daily and yearly basis.

  1. Step 1

    There are two (2) main input fields on the Salary Calculator, the first one is the Salary Rate and the next one is the Working Limit. Let's work first on the Salary Rate, enter the hourly rate on this field. For example, your rate is $25 per hour, enter 25 on this field.

  2. Step 2

    The next step is to enter the Working Limit on its rightful input field. What is a working limit? It is a required working time duration a company or employer is asking for your service. Usually, there's a required 8 hours work a day. You can choose more options by clicking on the dropdown menu.

  3. Step 3

    Lastly, click on the Calculate button to get your results. They will be displayed on the right side (or bottom on mobile) of the calculator - hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and annually.

Common Working Hours

Although freelancers might be allowed to work any time of the day so long as they met the required minimum working time limit, not so the case on office or field employees. They are usually required to work 8 hours a day from morning to afternoon. So based on common working hours, here's a table for your reference.
